Tesla's latest app upgrade just made it possible to manoeuvre your car into the garage with a tap of your wrist...

Tesla’s unofficial Remote S app has just rolled out a new update, and it includes the ability to summon your beloved Model S from the garage simply by tapping the screen of your Apple Watch.

With version 3.0 of the Remote S app loaded on your iOS wrist-kit, you can now remotely command your Tesla to pull in and out of your garage, drive, or any parking spot with just a single tap of your wrist. You don’t even have to be in the driver’s seat – or, for that matter, in the car.

Of course, you’ll have to give your Tesla some vague directions. The app will prompt you to choose whether you want your smart car to move forwards or backwards, and you have to tap the watch to end the manoeuvre.

You can download Remote S for $9.99 (around £7) from the app store. Invest in some HomeLink remote control garage door tech too, and you create some seriously smooth Bond car trickery, like this guy…
