Garmin's latest now includes GPS
Need a fitness band with GPS built in? If you are running complex routes and have a need for accurate distance and pace tracking, then the Vivosmart HR+ might be what you are looking for.
The GPS will enable you to track your progress via Garmin’s Connect iOS or Android app, and the tracker comes with the usual heart rate monitor, water resistance, calorie tracker and smart phone notifications which can alert you of any inactivity. Yes, your fitness tracker will yell at you if you slacken.
The downside to the GPS is reduced battery life, sucking the usual five days between charges down to eight hours.
The Vivosmart is available for £170 – find out more at Garmin.
