There are a lot of drones on the market right now, but this one is a little different - the ProDrone Byrd quadcopter can lift the weight of a full-grown DSLR.

That’s a massive amount more lift than many others out there, and means that this little drone can actually transport stuff – more than 2kgs worth in fact.

To put that into perspective, the impressive 3DR Solo can bear off anything up to a pound in weight, while the ProDrone carries 4.5 pounds, or just over 2 kgs.

It also looks like a PS one when folded up, and can be programmed to follow you for 25 minutes, or hunt fixed GPS points. All that and it’ll fold up into a rucksack when not in use.

Other camera options include 4K, 1080p, infrared (and GoPro obviously) and HD video streaming. Price is between $800 and $3,000 depending on configuration.
