A simply genius solution to the worldwide problem of nail clipping debris.
We all have a special place where we like to clip our nails. For some of us, it’s over the bin. For others, it’s the kitchen sink. Some of us might even prefer to do it over the cactus in the conservatory, while there are some brave few who just do it over the kitchen floor and hope the dog licks up before anyone notices.
Wherever you choose to clip your nails, though, there’s one common problem you’re sure to face, and that’s rogue nail clippings. The little nippers fly everywhere, and there’s nothing you can do to stop it. Until…now. Meet Nail Capsule. The one sure-fire way to stop nail clipping snow once and for all.
Currently plugging away over on Kickstarter, Nail Capsule is a transparent pod for keeping your trimmings in check. Stick your finger in one end, your clippers in the other, and trim to your heart’s content, safe in the knowledge that your nail clippings are falling safe and sound into the pod.
When you’re done, just pop off one end of Nail Capsule and empty your clippings into the bin like a good hygienic person. It’s simple, but it’s totally genius, and you can’t pretend that you don’t need it.
You can thank a gentleman from Dublin called Gerard O’Leary for this stroke of genius. According to his Nail Capsule Kickstarter campaign, Gerard has worked in the building industry all his life, and has been trying to keep his hands busy by inventing and creating new things since the recession hit in 2008.
The Nail Capsule is up for pre-order at a very reasonable €7 (around £6), and is set to ship in October if the campaign can attract enough backers.
