Tired of laboriously searching Apple TV for what you want, a letter at a time? Now you will be able to tell it directly where to go, via Siri
The next version of Apple TV, TVOS 9.3, is set to further boost voice control, ending the very s-l-o-w and clunky process of picking out programme titles a letter at a time, via the Remote. Instead you will be able to tell your Apple TV what to search for, by holding down the Siri button on your remote and talking.
Better late than never.
While the 4th generation Apple TV does include Siri already, its use is mainly restricted to navigating the main interface.
Owners of 4th generation Apple TVs should be able to download TVOS 9.2 this spring.
